The Role

We’re looking for a motivated individuals who want to work in the engineering and sustainability built environment alongside major companies that define the heating and cooling industry — including but not limited to Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Cleaver Brooks, Rheem, and AERCO. You’ll serve as a technical resource for our engineering partners, and our customers, translating manufacturer product lines and specifications into practical, applicable solutions for real building systems.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend HVAC, boiler, and heat pump equipment across a range of manufacturers based on project requirements
  • Support engineering firms and customers with technical specifications, equipment selection, and system design input
  • Assist with proposal development, submittals, and technical documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, capabilities, and updates from key manufacturers
  • Serve as a technical liaison between manufacturers, engineering partners, and internal teams
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing equipment, building conditions, and project feasibility
  • Attend in-person stakeholder meetings with engineering firms, building owners, and manufacturer partners as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of major HVAC and boiler manufacturers and their product lines (Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Cleaver Brooks, Rheem, AERCO, or similar)
  • Familiarity with built-environment systems — boilers, heat pumps, and building mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical specifications and drawings
  • Strong communication skills for working across engineering, sales, and manufacturer teams
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the New York region for site visits and stakeholder meetings
